Language barrier + gaslighting + restriction
- I won a prize on Live Trivia and after playing for a half hour my Golden Chips went missing. I went to the chat and reported it - the agent did not understand what I was explaining told me to give it 72 hours. I didnt really care for this answer so I came back later and got another agent who couldnt see anything wrong on my casino but wrote up a ticket - he was not very good with english either so I came back a THIRD time and that time got someone who did seem to understand. We went through the events I was asked for screen shots which of course you never have and she re-did the ticket. I was hopeful. After a few days I went in to check on the status of my ticket and they said they had sent it to the correct department. This was not sitting well with me for whatever reason and I went back in to the game that was supposed to be played to wager the Golden Chips and decided to check the game history and there they were! MY CHIPS! I took a bunch of screen shots and went back to the chat. This time I had some proof and thought NOW we are getting somewhere... well guys I have to say... that prize was supposed to be a HAPPY thing youd think right? It was by far the worst experience I have ever had at an online casino. I also noticed the agents were not being very helpful at times even rude and I didnt understand why - until finally an agent that I had spoken to over the chat MANY times over the last few years basically started GRILLING me about my gambling habits and such... and proceeded to restrict my account - mid-ticket investigation! So thats an odd thing to happen really. I was being gaslit - they had decided to make this whole event about me instead of the actual event that caused me to go to the chat and they basically were saying that they had investigated it thoroughly and that there was no evidence of any problem/etc.. which at this point I am feeling my blood boil... this is a trusted casino up until this point and I could NOT and still CANNOT believe this was the route they chose to go with this. So as it stands I am now restricted for going to the LIVE CHAT and asking for help with a prize that I won fair and square. I am EXTREMELY bothered by this whole thing - and no not because of the funds that went missing - but moreso that the tactics and decisions this casino decided to take were FALSE. This means the trust is completely gone this also means that if this is happening to ME it has GOT to have happened to others and to what degree does this casino do this? How much money have they KEPT with NO reason to where they INVENT a reason and get rid of a player who has a real concern? I truly hope this gets investigated properly I am certainly doing everything I can to see this go somewhere where they are held accountable for this... it is a serious thing to run an online casino - folks spend alot of money there and this whole technical issue that was ignored - this says ALOT of the practices this casino has. I do NOT recommend this casino they were blantantly unfair and unprofessional and I hope to have a better report sometime soon - I will try to take this as far as I can. People should not be experiencing this type of incident EVER at an Ontario iGAMING casino and yet here I am.. curious are there others? If anyone knows how to order an external investigation on these things please do message me.

- This establishment has regrettably failed to uphold its referral promise. After providing a code that granted both the existing player and the new player a $50 bonus I submitted my referral code via email. My friend received it applied it correctly and was awarded the $50. I was informed that it could take up to 48 hours for my bonus to be credited so I patiently waited for over four days. Now despite having emails that clearly align with the timing of the bonus issued solely to my friend they claim that we never utilized the referral which is a blatant falsehood. I was present during the process and we were comparing this casinos offerings with others that had far superior referral incentives. The only reason we chose to remain with this casino was due to my recent $100 win which was prominently displayed on my screen.Betano has a history of being less than transparent regarding their deals and promotions. They are quick to present a narrative that diverges from what is actively promoted. For instance they inquired if my friend was the third individual we had referred to their casino for the $50 bonus a stipulation that was never mentioned until now with the new policy suggesting that three referrals are necessary for any form of reward. Good luck to Betano Casino with their unrealistic expectations as it is nearly impossible to find three new players let alone one willing to invest their money in such a lackluster and ungrateful establishment.I have requested the closure of my account as I am weary of the constant runaround every time I engage in business with them. It is both frustrating and disheartening that they cannot honor straightforward agreements especially given the ample evidence and time wasted in discussions with them as if we had nothing better to do. I would rate them a 2 out of 10 as they offer minimal promotions and virtually no free spins making for a rather uneventful experience. The ratings here seem to be a farce as everyone I have encountered has faced similar issues regarding referrals and bonus collections with this casino.
