- They have a confusing website that lets you go in to debt I placed a £10 bet at what I thought was 2.4 odds and it turned in to a negative balance of £230 I called within a minute if the incorrect bet being placed and they say there is nothing they will do and I have to clear the negative balance up. I have a deposit limit of £10 for sporting index and they have told me the deposit limit doesnt apply to spread betting and I need to clear the balance seems like a scam to me and customer services were a joke no empathy or an ounce of decency avoid at all costs

- So my husband normally uses sky bet and came across this website ! Unlucky for him he never read this reviews and what he thought was a £20 bet turned into £180 ! Within minutes of not realising why and so confused on what had happened he immediately stopped the bet. Contacted customer service! They were rude and unhelpful and a waste of time and for the privilege of coming across this rip off company we are now at a £180 loss for a bet he didn’t even continue with and should have only cost £20. Website very confusing and misleading I will be notifying watchdog and speaking to my bank .

So gone elsewhere and Bet 365 have got vem an amazing joining up reward and give you amazing specials and I have had a reward cash bonus both weeks since joining without having to ask. - Hi please try avoid this scammers.I place a bet and after game finish they give status of the game lost(so I check result and that game was won) so I contact them and they say that I am not right so 10minutes later they change status of the game în void (and excuse was like the price în moment of placeing bet wasnt updated)After they block my accountso I couldnt place any betsand I wait more than 48hours to recieve my withdrawl which always was in 2h în my account I place complain and they redirect me to dispute departament which they dont answerand I place complains and ask for reference no for that that complain and they still dont sent me after 5daysAVOID

- Falsely advertising match winner in the World Cup when in fact they are selling result after 90 minutes.William Hill and Ladbrokes clearly state 90 minutes but sporting index advertise match winner instead. So you will bet on this and so long as there is added time or penalties for that win you will still lose.Their terms and conditions are also split into a different section of the site as they have spread betting and odds separately. They are all over social media encouraging bets on match winner but many folks will be ripped off by their abuse of wording and non-discloser of 90 minutes. Beware of this unethical firm!Dont bother with these World Cup matches it seems they are all getting dragged out past 90 minutes anyway. I wonder why eh? Eh?

- Good range of markets excellent website and friendly customer service people who can make decisions. A while back there was a situation where they could have hidden behind ts&cs and not paid out a bet. They honoured it regardless - more than I expected. Fast payers too. Very light on concessions but a professional trustworthy outfit.

- Used SI since the 1990s when bets had to be struck by phone! I think they continue to offer an excellent betting platform. At least theyll take a bet unlike so many of the traditional bookmakers who apply pathetic limits (or even close your account) as soon as you have a decent win. My only gripe... their traders are better equipped than they were 20 odd years ago and as a result make less mistakes.....!

- I placed a £10 football bet here after not using the account for several months. I lost and SportingIndex immediately banned me from taking part in any promos. Yea its another one of those crazy online bookies who ban people for no reason at all. Its happened to me with a few others and there never seems to be any rhyme nor reason to the decision. This one takes the cake for being the most inexplicable.Were they any good before the ban? Well since I opened with after not using the account for several months I think you can probably guess.

- Disgraceful company!!Almost 4 months after I opened my account I tried to deposit and got a message stating it was locked.I phoned up and was told I was sent an email regarding this.I found the email (from an account not associated with the company!!) - stating I needed to send various information - including a bank statement!! - I have never been asked for a bank statement from any online betting site before and doubt this is even legal!! - AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

- Very honest. More importantly caring. Accidental big deposit. Rang them after withdrawing excess amount and they said they could not do anything as I had already withdrawn so I would have to wait 3-5 working days. But then they rang me up following day and exceptionally cancelled withdrawal and sent me back the extra funds on the same day. Words not enough to praise customer service. We all lose to bookmakers its just a question of losing small as betting is a mugs game. Frankly Id rather lose to Sporting Index. Good people.

- The website design must be one of the worst in the industry. It is hard to use the odds awful compared to Bet 385 and 888 Sport and for some reason I have to place funds into their spreads website before I can transfer them to their odds website to bet on normal bookmakers markets. I can see this company failing in the future.

- I opened an account with Sporting Index a couple of weeks ago. Initially all was well until I had a win on the football and attempted to withdraw my winnings. This was rejected as the bank card I use on my account was in my parents address. The problem I have with this company is that they allowed me to deposit my account using the same card they are refusing to withdraw to surely this is wrong. The customer service team have been really unhelpful and now I have to send in a full photograph of my entire card details. I am worried now that my card details are now compromised.
